MSW

Jessica Fink, MSW, Supervisee in Social Work, creates an open and inviting space for clients to explore their past, present and future in order to live fully and better handle life’s challenges.

She welcomes clients of all backgrounds and identities, with a particular interest in helping clients strengthen interpersonal relationships, manage depression and anxiety, and work through trauma. Jessica has a special interest in working with attorneys and those working in the political arena in therapy, helping them balance their success with overall life satisfaction.

Jessica believes our experiences live not only in our mind, but in our body, and healing occurs when we connect the two. She utilizes strengths-based, solutions-focused, and mindfulness based approaches, combining aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic, and attachment theory based on the unique needs of each client.

Jessica received her Master’s of Social Work from Catholic University of America where she focused on person-in-environment and trauma informed practice. Jessica has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Journalism and Economics from Emory University, representing her capacity to create meaning in the unique stories of others while at the same time understanding the practicalities that exist in everyday life. Originally from Michigan, Jessica has lived in the DC area for the past ten years.

Jessica believes that clients are the experts in their lives and empowers each person to strengthen their sense of self and realize their dreams.

Jessica is under the supervision of Cathy Canfield, LCSW.
