Jackson Stone, MSW, LCSW, LICSW, has over 5 years of experience offering therapy to persons struggling with relationships, anxiety, stress, trauma, and depression. He has worked in individual, couple and family settings with a focus on child-parent issues and couple and marital issues including affairs, sex, miscarriages, loss, and imbalanced power dynamics.
Jackson brings a wealth of knowledge and diversity in experience, having worked in the school setting, child and welfare services, and the medical field. The clients he has worked with come from diverse backgrounds: able-bodied and persons with disabilities, adolescents, emerging adults, middle-aged adults, elderly adults, first- and second-generation immigrants, persons of all ethnic backgrounds, persons of different socioeconomic states and persons of various sexual orientations and identities.
While trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and the Ackerman Relational Approach (ARA), Jackson believes that being a therapist that is focused on building rapport and establishing a relationship built on trust and acceptance in a safe environment is essential.
