Sofia Shahid received her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling From Bay Path University in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. She understands each individual is unique and special, and emphasizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist and creating a safe environment to discuss all topics.

She is committed to helping individuals create personal goals all while building confidence, acceptance, and self-determination. She also helps families overcome their obstacles and reach their best potential self by motivation, positive self talk, communication, play therapy techniques, art therapy techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical therapy, narrative, role play, etc. Sofia works with young adults, teens and children of all ages that struggle with anxiety, depression, self esteem, anger management, identifying emotions, trauma and PTSD, sexuality and identity issues and other related mental health issues.

In her free time, Sofia enjoys learning new games, eating new food, playing with her dogs and traveling.
