Lindsay Hamilton

Lindsay Hamilton earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 2013. She completed her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of West Alabama. She works from a person-centered approach that incorporates a solution-focused perspective. Lindsay enjoys using the person-centered approach in play therapy, where she works with children ages 4 and up. She collaborates with clients to identify and utilize their internal strengths and resources to approach life’s challenges. She has experience working with clients diagnosed with serious mental illness such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, personality disorders, and co-occurring substance use. Lindsay is dedicated to supporting clients through each step of their therapeutic journey.

Lindsay is a Resident in Counseling under the supervision of Nina Cassada, LPC.
