Darlene Kelly graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in sociology at the Utah State University in Logan (UT) and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix (AZ). Education paired with life-changing losses and challenges has allowed Darlene to gain knowledge, tools, and skills to help others navigate through life's uncertainties. Darlene uses an integrated approach: theoretical using cognitive behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and play therapy, as well as mindfulness by holding space and creating physical awareness.

Darlene works with children, adolescents, and individuals who have experienced a great deal of trauma and believes that rock bottom is a solid foundation for a jump start. Mental and physical wellness is obtained through clearing, shifting, and holding yourself gently and compassionately, while ensuring a safe environment for growth to flourish.

Outside of private practice, Darlene has worked as a psychiatric technician in a mental hospital, as well as a counselor at a residential treatment and foster care facility for troubled and refuge children and adolescents. She has experience working with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, PTSD, grief and loss, sex trafficking, immigration stress, and acculturation.

Darlene is under the supervision of Nina Cassada, LPC.
