Lindsay Hamilton earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of West Alabama in 2023. With a background in community mental health, she has experience supporting adults navigating a wide range of complex mental health concerns, including serious mental illness such as bipolar, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, personality disorders, and co-occurring substance use disorders.
Lindsay takes a trauma-informed, person-centered approach to therapy, fostering a safe, collaborative space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused strategies, she tailors treatment to the unique goals and needs of each individual. She collaborates with clients to identify and utilize their internal strengths and resources to approach life’s challenges.
Lindsay works with both adults and children ages 4 and up, supporting clients in developing insight, building resilience, and creating meaningful change through compassionate and evidence-based care. Lindsay is dedicated to supporting clients through each step of their therapeutic journey.
Lindsay is a Resident in Counseling under the supervision of Nina Cassada, LPC.
