Heather Apostol, BSW, MSW Student, is passionate about helping children and teenagers navigate life’s challenges and build resilience. With a Bachelor’s of Social Work (BSW) from George Mason University and completing her Master’s in Social Work at the same institution, Heather brings a solid foundation of knowledge and hands-on experience to her work.
Heather has worked with underserved communities in Fairfax County, giving her valuable insight into the unique challenges families face. As an MSW clinician in training with Counseling of Alexandria, she focuses on supporting children, teens, and their families with anxiety, depression, and other emotional hurdles.
Growing up in a culturally multi-generational household, Heather understands the powerful role family and culture play in shaping a person’s life. She uses this perspective to connect with her clients, fostering a compassionate and supportive environment where children and teens feel heard, valued, and empowered to thrive.
